The very first Official Vietnam Veteran's Day event for WI as a result of a bill that passed on July 20, 2009.
Hosted by Thuy Smith International & WEAU 13 News.
It is a historical moment with education, cultural exchange, celebration, & healing for many.
Open state-wide & free of charge.
Doors open at 1:30, ceremony is from 2pm-4pm.

Congressman Ron Kind, Secretary of Department of Veterans Affairs (WI), Vietnam Veteran who passed very first Vietnam Veterans day bill, Native American Veterans & Hmong Special Guerrilla Unit Veterans along with cultural presentations, Vietnamese Amerasians paying tribute, Vietnam Veterans who just returned from Vietnam in January, WI Public Television (WI Public Radio) showing clip from upcoming WI Vietnam Veterans Documentary, Huey helicopter on the grounds, & other surprises.
