Community Christmas Lunch

Culver's on Brackett Avenue in Eau Claire will be hosting a free Christmas Day Lunch from Noon to 2PM. You will receive 2 pieces of chicken with fries, coleslaw, roll, drink, and frozen custard. This a free meal for everyone, but a $5 donation would be welcome, proceeds will go to The Salvation Army and Hope Gospel Mission.

White Christmas

Not the snow outside! A fantasitc musical, Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" at the State Theater in Eau Claire, performed by the Chippewa Valley Theater Guild.

Performances will be Thursday December 16th through Sunday December 19th at 7:30PM (Sunday 1:30pm only).

Holiday Concert - Bring Books!

Ring in the holidays with UW Eau Claire!

The 36th Annual Holiday Concert will be at the Zorn Arena Sunday December 5th with performances at 2PM and 5PM. Admission is $5 for floor seats/3 for bleacher seats. Guests are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped book to donate to the Give-a-Kid-a-Book project sponsored by the Friends of the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library.

Two Free Events on Monday October 25th

Here are some FREE (my favorite price) events that will give you a reason to look forward to Monday!

For the kids it's the Eau Claire Ford Lincoln 6th Annual Trunk and Treat. Bring the Kids in there Halloween Costumes to Eau Claire Ford Lincoln, 2909 Lorch Avenue, between 5:30PM and 7:30PM Monday for some early Trick or Treat fun, provided by local businesses.

For everyone there is a performance by The Pro Arte Quartet at the Gantner Concert Hall of Haas Fine Arts Center UWEC Campus at 7:30 Monday Evening. They will be performing classical and contemporary string chamber music.

July 3rd - at Carson Park in Eau Claire include train rides, music and baseball at 6:05 Eau Claire Express vs. Waterloo Bucks. Fireworks at 10PM.

July 4th - at Cinder City Park in Altoona has Fireworks at dusk.

July 4th - at Wakanda Park in Menomonie is FreedomFest with a petting zoo, dunk tank, Bingo, music, food and more. Fireworks at 10PM.

The very first Official Vietnam Veteran's Day event for WI as a result of a bill that passed on July 20, 2009.
Hosted by Thuy Smith International & WEAU 13 News.

It is a historical moment with education, cultural exchange, celebration, & healing for many.
Open state-wide & free of charge.
Doors open at 1:30, ceremony is from 2pm-4pm.
