Trains leave every 15 minutes, the last train departs at 4:45PM. $2 for children, $3 for adults.

WHYS Bluegrass Festival

Good music this weekend at the WHYS Bluegrass Festival, August 21st, Noon to 7PM at Lake Altoona County Park, Beach Road, Altoona.

Come rain or shine, the music includes 6 bands from Wisconsin and Minnesota, plus a fiddle contest, activities for kids, plenty of good food and more.

National Night Out Event

August 3rd is National Night Out, and you will find a free event to be held at Owen Park in Eau Claire from 5PM to 7PM. Activities include carnival games, dunk tank, petting zoo, inflatables, popcorn, balloons, finger painting, music and more! For more information, call 715-839-5032.

Sounds of Speed

Head to Rock Falls Raceway in Elk Mound this weekend for some exciting drag racing.

Saturday July 24th is $69 test day, with Jr Drags Saturday Night. Sunday 25th all racers welcome for Bracket Racing. Gates open at 7AM, eliminations start at 12:30PM.

4th of July Weekend

Boom! Ahh! It's that time of year - and family fun all weekend celebrating the 4th of July in Eau Claire County.

July 3rd - at Carson Park in Eau Claire include train rides, music and baseball at 6:05 Eau Claire Express vs. Waterloo Bucks. Fireworks at 10PM.

July 4th - at Cinder City Park in Altoona has Fireworks at dusk.

July 4th - at Wakanda Park in Menomonie is FreedomFest with a petting zoo, dunk tank, Bingo, music, food and more. Fireworks at 10PM.

The wildflowers are in full bloom, and along with them you'll find butterflies. Meet the Blue Angels

See and MEET the US Navy Blue Angels Friday June 4th 7:30PM at a free family event at the Chippewa Valley Regional Airport, 3800 Starr Ave in Eau Claire. It's just the start of the Chippewa Valley Air Show this weekend June 5th and 6th.
Acts include the F-16 Viper West Demonstration Team, an F-15 Fighting Falcon, Kent Pietsch and the Jelly Belly, Michael Wiskus with the Lucas Oil Pitts Show Plane, and much, much more.
